Who’s in charge anyway?

Yeah, we all saw this one coming. I’m still mulling over the choice of Jurgen Klinsmann as the new head coach of the US mens national team. I’m still not convinced it’s the right direction as coach. However, there may be other things going on within the USSF which may be associated with the change which may prove this move to be a good one in the long-run. We just won’t know for some time.

Calm down US Soccer fans

I don’t know if it’s just soccer fans or Americans in general these days but, well, these knee jerk hysterics depending on the latest result has got to end. Sorry but, yeah losing at the Azteca was a disappointment. But ya know what? We’ve never won there. Not once.

A good sized baby step

I’m sure US Soccer fans are going to be dissecting the Confederations Cup run for a long time.  Well, I hope that’s what happens.  There’s a million talking points to examine.

Can’t say much about the squad Arena named for the match against TnT next week.
However, it’s good to see Hartman in the squad…he deserves it. But there are a couple in the squad who aren’t producing for their club sides right now so they confuse me a bit…but what I know? It is only TnT of course.
ROSTER BY POSITION
Goalkeepers (3) - Kevin Hartman (Los Angeles Galaxy), Tim Howard (Manchester United), Kasey Keller (Borussia Moenchengladbach)
