I was raised on English terrace chants so I’ve no idea what’s going on here. (I also don’t speak Spanish) I’m assuming it’s before the gates open. Whatever it is, it sure got me pumped up for a match.

…But twice in the same day??? Ouch!!!
I know I complain about the scheduling MLS has. I guess things are worse in Mexico.

The US-Mexico game in Columbus next month sold out in 20 minutes yesterday. Well not exactly, but it’s still pretty impressive.
Tickets went on pre-sale a week ago to local groups, Crew season ticket holders and fans who have registered at ussoccer.com. This was done in an effort to get as pro a US crowd as possible. However, I’m sure a decent number of enterprising Mexican fans will have managed to get tickets as well.

But that hasn’t stopped Jared Borgetti from joining Bolton Wanderers. He’ll be joining the team once the Gold Cup finishes.
It seems there were other offers for him but he wanted to play in England. This could be a very good purchase by Sam Allardyce.
Borgetti is the first Mexican player bought by an English side. More globalization of the game…and a move that I expect will benefit all involved.
