Stop telling me what to think

I’m sorry, I’ve put up with this for years.  However, this soccer related elitism our friends from Britain (or who want to be from Britain) want to impose on us “Yanks” has got to stop.

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t see how any of this is needed and I’m not sure what the Liverpool faithful hoped to accomplish by treating Hicks Jr this way. To be honest, I haven’t followed all of this that closely but the only things I can figure out the Liverpool fans have to complain about is 1) the Hinks-Gillette pockets aren’t as deep as they’d like and 2) the way they handled the Rafa situation (looking to replace him that is)
It’s unfortunate but if the owners don’t …

I don’t think the writers of Dream Team could come up with something this good.
Then again, you’d expect something like that from Bellamy…after all, he spent time in Naarfeck. Serves him right. But c’mon guys, fighting over karaoke? You’re supposed to be drunk and out of tune…if you’re sober, you should be smart enough to leave.

Owen clearly wants to move from Madrid. He has not established any long-term roots in the city, does not speak the language and the arrival of two new Brazilians, Julio Baptista and Robinho, means he could now be the fifth-choice striker …

For those of you who haven’t heard the story yet, Shields is a Liverpool fan who seems to have been at the wrong place at the wrong time after the Champions League Final a couple months ago. After the final, lots of Liverpool fans were at a resort in Bulgaria. An unfortunate incident took place which left a bartender at the resort with brain damage after a brick hit him in the head. The Scouser who threw the brick has confessed to what he did, but the court in Bulgaria …

I was sure this score would go into double digits. However, Liverpool only manage a 3-0 win over Welsh champions TNS. It could have been closer if Steven Gerrard wasn’t playing as he got all three goals.
