Yet another reason to skip the All-Star game

If Columbus can beat Fulham…what are the leagues best going to do? I mean, Columbus have one of the worst records in the league…they currently don’t have a coach and yet, in this friendly, they got the win.
Yeah, it’s only a friendly and Fulham probably didn’t have anything close to their strongest line-up. But still, why should this result give me any reason to tune in to ABC on Saturday?

Columbus has never lost to an EPL team according the Columbus Dispatch (I had to read something while I’m in Ohio).
Having attended the match, I can say that Columbus deserved the win. Fulham pretty much played everyone on the roster. They didn’t take the game entirely at face value (looking to win) but they did definitely try to pull it out.
It was weird watching a match where the two teams actually looked even when it came to MLS v. EPL.
heck…now that I think about it, LA have never lost to an EPL side either (drew 1-1 with Villa in ‘97 or ‘98…it was a long time ago so it’s not surprising this slipped my memory)
Prior to last night, has any EPL club beat an MLS team?
