I hope this wasn’t my only fifteen minutes of fame
The other day I received a Facebook message asking if I’d be interested in being interviewed on BBC Radio Suffolk’s Rock n Goal Years show. As always, I had to give a response explaining how I’ve got a great face for radio.
So, I get a call this morning about 8:20. I had no clue how long it would be. The first thing which got me was the fact that Kevin Beattie was on the show. So, here I am on the air with one of my childhood hero’s on the other end of the phone and there’s a slight delay in the call which would throw me off a bit. No worries.
Then the questions start to come. I’m having to think about my responses. Now, I knew I had to give a couple of my answers some thought but did I have to insert all the um’s & errr’s? Oh well, I don’t think I sounded too much of an idiot.
BTW, that day at Wembley was magic. I’ll never forget it.
If ya wanna hear the interview, just listen below.
