Lost Happened

Some quick thoughts on this weeks episode.

  • Sayid had to shoot Ben.  Jack had to betray his Hippocratic Oath.  Otherwise, Sawyer and Kate wouldn’t have taken to to get ‘healed’ by the others leading to him becoming the Ben we’ve all come to love.
  • Hurley stumps Miles’ explanation of the whole time travel consequence by asking why Ben didn’t remember Sayid when he was being tortured.
  • said he wouldn’t remember the incident if they got him better, would he have forgotten more than that?  Is it possible that when he said he lived on the island his whole live he didn’t remember not being on the island?
  • How did Miles know that Sayid had tortured Ben?
  • I don’t know why, but I’m certain there’s still more to the Kate suddenly giving Aaron to his grandmother story.
  • Kate and Cassidy sure became BFF quickly.  Could it be a mutual lover thing?
  • Speaking of lovers, Kate and Roger Linus seemed to be hitting things off well.
  • All of Ben’s backstories seem to pain Roger as an evil drunk who hates Ben.  He sure didn’t come across that way when Ben got shot.
  • I dunno, for some reason I have a feeling Ben will have a half-sibling and Kate will be the mother.
  • Driving home from work yesterday a thought dawned on me, what if hadn’t been more yet in 1977?
  • What ever happened to the kids from the tail section and the flight attendant..what was her name?  Cindy?
  • Right now we have Walt, Aaron and Sun/Jin’s daughter as kids who’ve been on the island but aren’t there now.  There’s been a lot of kids who were on the island who returned.
  • Where the heck is Sayid going to go hang out?
  • Just how is Christian going to get Sun and Frank with the rest of the Losties?
  • Speaking of Frank, the island really wants him there.  First he was supposed to pilot flight 815, then he was doing the helicopter with the mercenaries, then he flew the Ajira which…well, that’s where we are.
  • So, Ben was beaten and bloody when he called Jack before the flight.  He called from a payphone (do they still exist?) near what looked like a marina.  Could he have been trying to get Des, or Penny or little Charlie on the plane and Des beat the $^@^ outta him?

Ok, there was some more but I can’t think of it right now…

One last thing, here’s some clips of John Locke making decisions which, well, make things difficult or worse. It’s hard to believe that he’s actually chosen by the island…unless it’s his ability to blindly follow without question.
